About

The Full Story

I entered this world on March 6, 1970, nestled in a quaint Louisiana town. My journey into the realm of creativity began at the tender age of two, when I adorned the walls with whimsical pumpkins. Growing up as an army brat in Germany, winters were long, but they provided ample time for me to delve into the art of cartooning. Surrounded by comic books, from the likes of Mad Magazine's Sergio Aragones and Don Martin, to classic comic strip collections such as Peanuts and Beetle Bailey, I honed my skills.

Despite early challenges from peers who labeled me solely as a cartoonist, I embraced a diverse array of artistic mediums. From Acrylics to Sculpting, Watercolors to Graphite, Pen and Ink to Pastels, each offered a new canvas for my expression. While I garnered recognition in various art contests, my heart remained steadfastly loyal to cartoons. It was then I realized: I am a Cartoonist, and I wear that title with pride.
